Lotto in Kenya: How do I win with LOTTO?

You win a prize in the main LOTTO draw by matching the numbers on your ticket to the numbers drawn for the LOTTO results. Prizes are received by matching 2 numbers + Bonus ball through to the jackpot for matching 6 numbers + Bonus ball.

You can match numbers in any order. For example:
– Your ticket has the numbers 6, 13, 1, 49, 28, 27 and a Bonus of 5.
– The results of the LOTTO draw are 17, 1, 33, 6, 49, 22 and a Bonus of 5
In this example you would have matched 3 main numbers (1, 6 and 49) and the Bonus of 5. This would give you a prize of KSh 300.

Lotto in Kenya: How much does it cost to Play? Can I buy more than one ticket?

Each ticket costs KSh 50.

If you’re playing Online you can buy multiple tickets in to that weeks draw in one transaction as long as you have sufficient funds in your Account to cover the cost of purchase. If you’re playing via SMS or MPesa you can only buy 1 ticket per request. You can however make multiple requests for entry in to the next draw.

Lotto in Kenya: What are the draw times?

Lotto has two draws a week:

– Wednesday: 21:00
– Saturday: 21:00

Deadline for entries into the draw is 20:00 on the day of the draw. Entries received after this time will be entered into the next available draw.

The results of the LOTTO draw are first broadcast on the LOTTO Live show on KTN at 22:00 on the day of the draw. They are published on the website at 22:15 on the day of the draw on the Results page.
